3/31/09 Biggest Loser Recap

Ok if you don't want to know who got voted off quit reading now.

Are you still there?

Ok still thinking about it?

All righty here we go. The show started with former players coming back for a weigh in. Nicole won and she got to come back to campus which of course rocked everyone to the core and she had immunity for the week provided she didn't gain. They kept pushing this point throughout the entire show which really sent up some flags for me as I was watching.

Ron had to go to the hospital and they found what was causing his pain something about an ulcer my little girl needed her Mama for more milk so I missed the exact diagnosis but they got a diagnosis and he got to go back to camp.

The challenge prize was a 1 lb benefit unless Nicole won and then she would get to give the pound to another player as in they would not have the benefit of it....The challenge was to balance on a platform on ropes over a pool of water. One of the cousins won it so YAY!!!! Kristen almost had it though and she totally rocked!!

At the WI Nicole gained 5 lbs EEP! So she did not have immunity and of course went below the line. Ron gained 3 lbs because of all the IV liquid. Laura gained 1 lb. Mike lost 11 lbs WTG!!!

So it was between Nicole and Ron and after the votes were done it was Nicole going back home. Girl you are gorgeous and you look great!! I'm sorry you only had a week on campus but OMG on how great you looked in that wedding dress you are a true shining star!

3/31/09 All Day

Man oh man March is over I cannot believe it.

Ok so today was my first FULL day with the go wear fit. I figured out really quick that I needed to change my target goals I upped my moderate exercise to 90 minutes but I am going to up it to 120 minutes. I also upped my steps to 8K but I am going to up it again to 10K tomorrow I know I can hit that if I try and right now by seeing the numbers I am trying. My calorie burn goal is 2500 calories a day and I thought at 7 tonight that I would never be able to meet it but I did! I HIT 2500 CALORIES BURNED I HIT IT I HIT IT LA LA LA LA LA LA I DID IT I DID IT LA LA LA LA LA LA! I hit 11K steps today. I hit 2 hours and 16 minutes of moderate exercise and LA LA LA LA LA LA I hit all my goals LA LA LA LA LA LA Happy dance! I DID IT!!!!!! Ok so can you tell I am happy with Go Wear Fit Day 2? I am.

It really does help me to have to see the numbers and I am forcing myself to journal every single thing I eat and really focusing on my calorie intake. I am to keep my calorie intake at about 1500 Calories and for day 2 I am right on target or well within 50 calories of it (under right now)

This morning I busted out the measuring cups and the food scale and measured everything out. I got exactly 1 cup of honey nut cheerios for breakfast. An apple and 2 cheese sticks for morning snack. Lunch was 1.5 cups of shredded romaine lettuce, 1 cup of cherry tomatos, 1/2 cup cheese, 1tbsp sour cream, 4 tbsps of salsa, 1.5 oz of chicken, and then the peppers and onions. It was a fajita salad if you can't tell LOL! It was good too but I actually couldn't eat the whole thing. Afternoon snack was 16 animal crackers and an activia yogurt. Dinner tonight was 1/2 cup of cheese tortellini, 2 tbsp of alfredo sauce w/ peppers (OMG out of this world good) and less than 1 tbsp of romano cheese. Evening snack was 1 eggo and 1 tbsp of peanut butter.

Workouts were 20 intense minutes on the elliptical and a 30 minute fast walk/jog. Roo stayed home she didn't get a nap so D went to work getting her to bed and pushed me out the door LOL! Then when I got back I jumped on the elliptical and pushed him out the door so he could get a run in. We're going to be getting him a go wear fit this month. He likes seeing numbers too.

3/30/09 All Day

Well the day got off to and ended on a great note! Well ok maybe not the greatest start I found out I maintained this week oh well at least I didn't gain.

I got my go wear fit around 1 and got it plugged in and charged and on and I need to go back to the beginning of the day first LOL!

I got up after hearing the cutest little voice ever going Daddy Daddy Daddy Fluf Daddy Mama Mama Fluf Mama sniff sniff cry. D was already on his way up and I jumped out of bed and threw some wear around the house clothes on. I got milk ready and as soon as a little girl hit hte floor it was in her hands. After D left at 7:20 I put in Walk Away the Pounds Power Mile and we marched our way through it Roo loves to march march march march.

I fixed us a serving of Cheerios and got to work. I kept an eye on the mailbox as I had a video in the mail and the flag was up so I could really see when they arrived. Everytime a car drove by my eyes would dart up. Roo curled up in my lap to watch Elmo and Ocar (nope didn't mispell it that's how she say's it) which worries me quite a bit she is not a cuddle bunny but she was today and that usually indicates that she is on the road to illness and I sure hope that's not the case and that she was just cuddley. She then read me some stories and got down to color as I kept working.

Snacktime arrived and we had strawberries and string cheese. We got the most gorgeous strawberries at Sam's on Saturday. They have the best flavor and they are HUGE! We're enjoying them fast though since they won't last long.

Lunch time arrived and I fixed us a tuna salad w/ one of the tuna pouches, relish, sweet pepper, celery, apple, and 2 tbsp of miracle whip light. Roo had hers with crackers and I had mine on top of or rather under spinach leaves since I ate out of the "mixing" bowl. I was shocked at how fast Roo devoured her serving and came to me for more which of course she received and she finished that off too! I'm not talking little teaspoons I'm talking big serving spoon scoops and she ate it all. It was really really good and something I will definitely be making again soon.

Roo went upstairs for a nap and I saw the mail carrier pull up and I was out the door running LOL! She apologized for being late apparently I was the second person out waiting I was like no you weren't but I want those boxes LOL!!! I ran in and got it hooked up. I then asked my friend K who has one if the three hours were going to be as long as they felt and she told me that it should have a charge already although maybe not a full one. SCORE! That sucker was on my arm faster than your could blink your eyes. I got up and did WATP Power Mile for the second time of the day. What can I say it's a quick video. I was so excited to see the numbers on the display thing going up WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Back to work LOL!

Roo woke up and wanted snack so we had an Activia Yogurt (trying to see if it will help my stomach issues worth a shot right) and 1 serving of animal crackers. YUMMY!

Dinner was chicken fajitas w/ 3 oz of cooked chicken, 2 flour tortillas, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar, 2 tbsp ff sour cream, peppers, and onion (can you tell we got peppers at Sam's too? They'll be making an appearance in a lot of meals this week if they can last that long)

We then went out for our family walk which was 30 minutes long and we went about 2 miles. We didn't have the Garmin on so I don't have my exact distance but it was up there.

We got home and it was bedtime for Roo went through the bath routine, the milk routine, the rocking routine, the crying crying crying, rocking, milk, crying rocking crying sleep routine and she was out by 8:15. I then jumped on the Elliptical for 30 minutes and I need to wear the go wear fit on my leg next time as it didn't register as exercise. BOOO! I had read this might happen on another site so I'll try their suggestion as it was an intense workout on the elliptical.

So the end of the day is here and I tracked my food on the go wear fit site and on spark people and I was at around 1430 calories so right on target with what I'm supposed to be. My calories that were shown as burned today were around 2100 so I didn't make my 2500 goal but ya know what I only had it half a day. I did make the 5000 step goal and 30 minutes of moderate exercise goal so I'm there on that.

My goal weight is 145 and according to go wear fit if I keep my goal of 2 lbs a week which I know most likely will not happen although seeing real actual numbers on a daily basis to know what I have to do to get to my goal I might get it going we'll see. Anyway if I do lose 2 lbs a week I will be at goal by Roo's second birthday which is my ultimate goal. I cannot wait to see if it happens.

Go Wear Fit review day 1: It ROCKS!

3/29/09 All Day

Where has March gone seriously it's almost April? OY! Time has flown by way to fast.

I am anxiously awaiting for my go wear fit to arrive I am ready to "see" the numbers and kick it up a notch. I don't know I was sitting here today and thinking to myself that I am doing what I need to do but there are times where I just slack off a little bit like this week I didn't get in all the exercise I needed and I haven't run any this week. Well that gets me nowhere literally. I know my body I know what I have to do but when it comes to totally pushing it to the limit there are weeks like this past one where I'm like oh well I can do it later. The truth is there is no later I need to do it now so that later I am at the level of fitness and weight that I want to be. Later I can enjoy the rewards of what I have done now. If I wait till later to do this I will be worse off and teh rewards will take longer to achieve. *sigh* So today I sat down and I knocked out my menu for the week based on the trip to Sam's yesterday. There's a lot of yogurt on the menu, as well as fruit and string cheese, and oh yeah can't forget cereal since we stocked up LOL! I am refocused 100% and have specific goals in mind.

Monday's 3 bursts of activity throughout the day as in individual workouts.
Tuesday 1 hour of fitness
Wednesday 1/2 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of weights
Thursday I will do a 20 minute walk with the family. I'm not going to lie about my Thursday I know what I'm eating for dinner already and I know that I will be having a drink or two as well as a final toast to the end of my Thursday nights as I know them. Yes I mean the end of ER. I started watching in 95 when it first came on and throughout college Thursday nights equaled pizza and drinks (and for to long my drinks were cokes because I didn't want to drink till I was legal what was I thinking? LOL) with my friends as we all sat in my dorm room with our eyes glued to the tube. As we all stared at Dr. Ross and grumbled about whoever was the bad guy at the time. After college Thursday nights continued to be pizza night and although a bunch of people weren't crowded in my room I watched with the phone to one ear and a commentary was usually going on IM. This show will be seriously missed so I have to toast it farewell and I have to toast it farewell my way.
Friday 3 bursts of exercise throughout the day
Saturday 1 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of weights
Sunday 1 hour of cardio and 1/2 hour of weights

Ok so there you have it that's my weekly plan with exercise I am going to stick to it I have to it's written down now for some reason I stick to things that are written down because in my mind I don't want to disappoint myself by breaking my word as that is something I take seriously.

So today I got my hour of exercise in WAHOOO!! We went on a super long walk and it was AWESOME! Then we played chase in the yard for at least 45 minutes with lots of running, squats, lifts, lunges, and jumping.

B: yogurt
S: didn't get one as the yogurt was at 10 LOL
L: 1 serving baked nachos (ground turkey, cheese, black beans, ff sour cream, salsa, fresh tomato, and chips)
S: 1/2 serving of chocolate cake
D: wrap w/ fruit salad
S: none

Come on go wear fit show up tomorrow!!

Breakfast was cheerios, snack was yogurt and a bar, lunch was a pita burger (the leftover patty from last night on a whole wheat pita w/ laughing cow) snack was two bites of a small homemade cinnamon roll. It was DELISH! Dinner was 2 small slices of pizza and evening snack is getting skipped because I am honestly to tired to eat.

I didn't get my workout in today because see above I am about to fall over with exhaustion and I do not want to wake up which I know that cardio does to me. So sleep will be occurring really soon.

3/24/09 Biggest Loser

Ok if you don't want my recaps quit reading now

Are you still here?

Yes you are maybe?

Ok here it goes.

They have gone from teams to singles and they had to pick which trainer they wanted for the rest of the season. I cannot imagine how hard that was for some of them, then for others I was like yeah didn't see that one coming oh the cousins went back to Bob I totally didn't see that happening TOTALLY blindsided me yeah right whatever. Anyway I still wish them well as I do everyone on the show at the moment.

Then it was the time for the challenge and the part of the challenge that totally blew me away was when they had to pull the car 1/2 mile. I am soooooooooooooooooooooo proud of Tara she ROCKED this challenge and won immunity as well as a bunch of other things. And Tara if you ever happen to run across my ramblings I am so glad that you didn't walk off the show. You are totally an inspiration!

Then it was weigh in time and Tara was 1 lb away from that 100 lb milestone she wanted to get. Next week girl next week! Kristen is the first female to beat the 100 lb hurdle on the campus though. WTG!!!! You rock!!! Ron lost 10 lbs but unfortunately he lost more than he wanted because Mike is close to the bottom at the moment but Filipe just weighed in and it's going to be him and Aubrey below the yellow line.

And at the end through all the votes Aubrey got voted off. She is not the biggest loser. I wish her well and hope that she has the power and strength to keep going. I hope she is a motivation to her family and her Dad. I am glad she gets to see her kids again I know she has missed them sooooo much! And I am crying at her reunion. Her kids are so cute! In the first two weeks she gained 9 lbs back but it forced her to see how easy it was so she is now forcing herself to go to the gym and has lost 10 lbs since leaving the ranch. Keep reaching for your goal Aubrey!

*dim the fridge light thingy tonight is over*

3/24/09 All Day

Tuesdays are tough and last night made it tougher. We are enjoying the weather with the windows open but the wind was knocking the cords on the flagpoles at the front of our subdivision around which was waking me up or rather keeping me up. Then as soon as I drifted to sleep Roo started to cough. I dozed back off and an hour later I saw straight up in bed as shrieks erupted from the monitor. I turned it off and laid down to see if someone would calm down and yes they did. We had the door closed last night too which made it even more difficult to hear her but we needed a cat free night. So finally at 12:50 I went to sleep and was ticked when the alarm clock went off this morning.

Breakfast was a grab and go of a serving of strawberry yogurt blast cheerios. Snack was a south beach diet bar. Lunch leftovers from last night of 4 meatballs and less than a serving of spaghetti. Snack was an orange and 2 cheese sticks. Dinner was a homemade burger w/ hashbrowns on the side. It was DELISH!!!! Then evening snack was a vanilla protein powder milkshake. YUM!

Workouts: I did 1.4 miles in 20 minutes with the family and then 25 minutes on the elliptical. I am proud of what I got accomplished!

And I cannot wait until the new workout toy arrives I am ready to see what I'm doing and trying to figure out what I can do differently to lose in a better fashion.

3/24/09 Motivation

Motivation is really what keeps a person going when they're working on losing weight. I am intrinsically motivated because I want the weight gone but I am also extrinsically motivated because I really want to look good.

I have always been a numbers person in that I like to see numbers like on a pedometer. I like to see my daily step count and when I was wearing it I strived to reach that 10K steps and not look back. I managed to hit it most of the time too. However the battery died and for some reason I never made it to the store to get a new one. I missed that though but I am also at the point I wanted something that would track more.

So after a lot of research (and this is something I have looked at for over a year) I decided to order the Go Wear Fit today (www.gowearfit.com) It's made by the same company that makes the Body Bugg which is what is worn on the biggest loser but it's cheaper and the reviews I read were higher for it. So keep an eye out here for reviews on how it's going and how it's being used. I cannot wait!!!!!!!

Oh yeah I also bought two new video series to try out Power90 and p90x I needed a change and why not mix it all up at once?

3/23/09 All Day

Motivation is what keeps a person going and motivation is one thing I have. :)

I'll start with WI I was down 1 lb WAHOOOO!! It was up from my sick weight and had been the same for 3 days so I'm going to accept it and stick with it.

I woke up in a fabulous mood with a very happy little girl. After I got her up and downstairs and DH had left for work I looked at her and said WALK and she started marching in place LOL! I popped in the power mile and we went through that and I am happy to say I ramped it and jogged for most of it. WAHOOOOOOO!!

Breakfast time had then arrived and I had a banana. A little girl had a banana, and cereal, and milk, and I think there was something else in it for her. I stuck with the banana. It was then 7:30 and time for work so I got back to it. I loved my days off last week and it was so needed! Snack was a large cracker w/ seafood salad spread on it DELISH!!! Roo loved it as well and tried to help herself to mine which resulted in many giggles as I had to chase her off and tickle her tummy. LOL! Lunch was a whole wheat pita w/ laughing cow and 1/2 serving turkey and 1/2 serving roast beef and banana peppers w/ 1 serving of baked chips. It was super good and really simple. Afternoon snack was applesauce and a cracker. Dinner was less than a serving of pasta with 1 serving of meatballs in an artichoke pesto sauce it was really good! Evening snack was a marshmallow thing from Ikea.

Workouts: I got the powermile in and then I did 30 minutes on the elliptical tonight. We didn't get our evening walk in because we were waiting on someone to show up to buy a chair I had listed on Craig's List but they didn't show GRRR!!! Anyway I still got 50 minutes of cardio in so I am happy.

Tomorrow's plan for workouts is to get an hour in. I ordered two new exercise systems tonight let's hope they're good I'll review them once they arrive. :)

3/18/09 All Day

Happy Birthday to my Grandad today. It has been a little over 3 years since he passed away but I still remember him and the love that he had for the family. I love you and miss you Grandad and I will forever.

I made it to work this morning and oddly enough was the first person in that happens to me very rarely. I honestly felt better than I had in several days and was looking forward to a great day. I ate my cheerios and enjoyed them and then a few minutes later I felt weird. I made it to the bathroom. I then made it home. Hopefully this is the last part of whatever has hit our family. I'm done with it.

I had a sprite that took 3 hours to drink. Then for lunch I had some ramen noodles. Then afternoon snack was another sprite. Dinner was a small ham sandwich which I did not eat all of either.

I'm done being sick thanks body enough is enough.

3/17/09 Happy St. Patty's Day

First things first for those who do not want the big loser recaps look away now

Are you looking away?

Now?

Ok here we go. All of the players got to go home for the competition. The competition was to run a half marathon. There were a variety of places that were used such as outside and a school gym. It was great watching everyone do this and getting to see their families. The twist was they each had a tin of cookies and they could eat a cookie and add 5 minutes to someones time. The prize was 10K. Tara time wise won by a little over a minute over Sione but Helen had eaten a cookie against Tara so Sione won the 10K and Tara lost out. I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this. Yes it was a game but give me a break eat against the opposing team not someone on your own! Anyway they workout and they move forward and blue team loses the WI again and Kathy asks to be sent home. Everyone (including her daughter man what a hard choice) decide to go with her wishes so she went home and of course she is looking great! I wish you the best Kathy and I can't wait to see how hard your daughter works. I feel for Kristen that was seriously a hard choice for her and one that hurt. HUGS!

Now watching them run that half marathon is TOTALLY inspiring. They hurt they pushed through and they DID IT!!! WAHOOOOOOOO!!!!! It made me want to go out and run myself and if my leg weren't cramping like it currently is I would have.

B: apple cinnamon cheerios S: forgot to eat or rather wasn't feeling 100% L: leftover slice of pizza (homemade) S: 1 serving animal crackers and light yogurt D: 1 tbs spanish rice, 2 homemade chicken enchiladas (2 chicken tenders shredded and divided among 2 high fiber tortillas, topped with light queso) s: pear (real) and V8 juice.

Workouts: 1.5 mile walk/with jogging with family. It wasn't a good walk though we had a lot of trouble because DD did not want to be in the stroller nor did she want to be carried, nor did she want to walk or run on her own. It left us with a lot of FUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. We speed walked and jogged home just to make it home quicker so that those on the neighborhood would quit glaring at us LOL!

3/16/09 All Day

I am feeling better and was able to eat today although i was super cautious.

B: apple cinnamon cheerios. S: none L: crab cake and pasta S: cheese stick w/ crackers D: chicken tenders w/ 1 tbs mashed potatos and 1 big spoon of peas. S: south beach diet snack bar

Workouts: I cleaned the house all day so it wasn't an intense workout in some ways but in others it was and I am now exhausted and hoping I can sleep tonight. I am still not use to the time difference at least that is what I think I figured out last night at midnight when i was still staring at the ceiling finall ready to doze off since 11 was my bedtime...........

3/15/09 All Day

I'm sick I have one of the lovely bugs that is going around and I hope it's on it's way out. I have felt sick all day today and I hate it!!!!!

I ate food but nothing lasted long so I'm not even writing it down.

No workouts as being curled up on the couch was the favored position of the day. Here's hoping that it's done and tomorrow I am in a better place.

Saturday, March 14, 2009

3/14/09 All Day

Today was a great day and it was an eating free day but that does not mean I went overboard at all!

Breakfast was a slice of toast w/ homemade peach jam. Snack didn't happen as we were out doing something special with the family. Since I have family that reads or might read this no mention of what it was till we get a finished product. :) Lunch was at Christines Fine Mexican food. I ate about a serving of chips and I got a taco dinner but the meat was to greasy for me so I didn't eat much. I only had about 4 bites and called it quits on the taco and scraped out the lettuce and tomato and really enjoyed that. I did have two bites of the rice and beans and I decided that was enough I didn't want my stomach to protest everything. Afternoon snack didn't happen. Dinner was delicious! We had a homemade pizza including the crust!! It had been forever and a week since we last made one of these and it had really been missed. Dennis made the crust from scratch and made his own sauce. The toppings were black olives, turkey pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, onions, and bell pepper. Like I said it was goooooooooooooooooood stuff! I only had 1.5 slices which was excellent. Evening snack I don't think is going to happen either.

Workouts were none I am letting my body recover from last week's and I cannot wait to hit it again tomorrow!

Friday, March 13, 2009

3/13/09 Happy Friday the 13th

Man oh man was it Friday the 13th or what? Roo was in a funk all day and made sure I knew how unhappy she was with everything. OY!

Breakfast was eggos w/ pb. Snack was cheese and cracker. Lunch was leftovers from last night. Snack was a protein bar. Dinner was chicken marasala (homemade) and linguini. It was DELISH!! Evening snack was 1/2 serving of mint chocolate chip pudding.

Workouts I did a walk and kick this morning when I woke up and then a walk away the pounds power mile during a little girl's nap.

Now it's time for the weekend and I am so excited to have it here! I need to get a battery for my pedometer so that I can start using that again. I want to start hitting 10K a day again which I know is easily doable.

Niters

3/12/09 All Day

This is going to be short and sweet. It was a long day.

I ate a serving of apple cinnamon cheerios when I made it to work. Snack was 1 serving of ritz crackers and laughing cow. It was supposed to be an apple but I don't eat rotten apples and the one I took was EWWWWWWWW!! Lunch was 1/2 a burger patty and less than 1 serving of the pasta salad from last night. Leftovers rock!! Afternoon snack was cottage cheese and yogurt. Dinner was chicken and mushrooms w/ a serving of fried rice. I came home exhausted so we ordered chinese and I told the place I wanted something light and not greasy and they said ok get this so that's what I got and it was great!! There is not any grease standing on it now so I think they really did a great job with it. The chicken wasn't breaded and it had a good flavor. The mushrooms were delish and I really enjoyed it! I will be enjoying it again tomorrow since I ate less than half LOL!

Workouts didn't happen tonight I had a craft project that had to be completed. Roo is having a special set of pictures taken on Saturday and she needed a head piece so that got done tonight just in case I had to go to the store tomorrow to get more of anything. I don't WAHOOOOOO but it's a little small for her head but I'm hoping it will work for what I need it to.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday and then I have a 3 day weekend WAHOOOOO!!

3/11/09 All Day Long

Well today was fun I stayed home with Little Miss since she needed to be on drops for 24 hours before going back to daycare. She woke up in the best of moods and her eye was all clear WAHOOOO!! She did have scratches around it but that's what you get when you're clawing at it the day before.......I snoozed until she woke up and we watched Sesame Street while curled up on the couch. Typing one handed and trying to read e-mails and respond is fun! It's so worth it though to have a little cuddle bug in my lap. We split a bowl of cheerios while watching Elmomo and Ocar (not a typo that's what she calls him)

After Sesame Street she said she wanted to walk but since the weather was so lovely today (cold and raining) I said we'd have to walk in the living room she ran straight for the TV. My kid knows me well LOL! I popped in Leslie Sansones Walk and Jog. Now I love the walk away the pounds series but with this one SERIOUSLY if you want me to jog don't make me bounce and kick. It doesn't work for me I have no problem jogging in place, going up and back or whatever but the bounce kicks BUGS me! Ok vent done. I got through the whole thing and for quite a bit of it I had a 25 lb kid in my arms. More calories burned right??

It was then time for snack and we had an apple and some cheese. It's always a favorite around here and so easy to have on hand.

Lunch was a toasted turkey sandwich w/ mozzarella and a little light cream cheese spread. I put the spread on, then cheese, then turkey, tossed it in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes checked it left it a little longer took it out added banana peppers to mine cut it up w/ the pizza slicer (man that thing comes in hand for all sorts of things) and we enjoyed. Roo had an open faced sandwich it's easier to pull all the turkey off that way.......

She went up for her nap and it was time for me to shred. I did level 1 again today I need to go to level 2 again but the thought of laying down to do chest flies was my inspiration and hope for today so I went with Level 1. Roo woke up (kid seriously 15 minutes does not equal a nap) and I had to pause at hte punches run grab her run back down the stairs put her down and get back to it. The Roo was not impressed and when it came time for ab work she was sitting on me OOF! Talk about intensity. I powered through and we made it.

I then went and got our afternoon snack together which was yogurt and 1 serving of animal crackers. Roo discovered that yogurt makes a most excellent dip.......It worked she was happy and the cats were happy with what found the floor. Yes I know I have weird cats.

Dinner was a jalapeno cheddar burger patty w/ a low fat ranch pasta salad which had pasta (duh) less than 1/4 cup of light miracle whip, peas, corn, shredded carrots, and some bacon pieces. I can't forget the ranch seasonings it had either. It turned out really well. The burger patty was out of this world good. I cannot express how good this was it will be on our rotation again soon!

D got Roo to sleep and I hit the weight machine. I've been doing great on cardio and lower body but even with the shred my arms felt neglected. They do not feel that way anymore and I am hoping right now that I can feel them in the morning. Right now they are pleasantly tired out.

So that was my day, eat, play, work, and workout. I'll be back in the office tomorrow so it will be a lighter workout day. I don't think I will be able to get my run in because of the lovely rain. It really is lovely we have needed it sooooooooooooooo bad but it does put a damper on outdoor activities.

Life is good and oh yeah I peeked at the scale this morning and I hope that the number is at least where it was today because there was a great loss! I knew ramping the workouts is what I needed to do.

Well first things first if you don't want to know what happened on the biggest loser look away now LOL!

Ok if you haven't looked away I warned you! It started off with a recap of last week and had Mike on the scale for the ooooo to be continued part. I hate that I'm sorry but seriously the attempt to keep us on our edge of the seat is bogus. Anyway feelings aside Mike had to lose 10 pounds or more and nobody would get sent home. If he didn't lose 10 lbs then one person from each team went home. He lost 11 WTG MIKE!!!! Then there were competetions people on opposite teams were paired off to compete, another competition black won again and got 24 hours of luxury where they went to an awesome looking hotel and lived the high life and ate and drank the high calories. I dunno how I feel right now I am still processing this. Everyone knows what you have to do in order to lose weight and they blew it out of the water blew it. Oy! At least everyone regretted it and I hope for them that it was one of those things that they will remember how they felt at the end of the day if they want to do it again. The guilt each expressed is something I have gone through myself. The feelings suck and knowing what has to happen and knowing where you fell of the wagon it's tough! So Black team I am still cheering for yall even though I want to ask each of you what were you thinking? And holy cow I want a drink I need to get that figured into my menu somewhere. Then the cousins had a big blow up at Jillian and walked off her team (I hope just for this week) Well somehow even through the splurge beyond splurges the black team won. Mandi gained and I am so sorry to see that she had worked so hard. The team talked and they agreed that it was Mandi's turn to go and she did. Her after video looks great and I can't wait to see if she makes her goal of being a size 2 by the finals. This season is so much different than last I love everyone right now unlike last season where I was throwing things at the tv going WHY are they still here LOL!

So that's my recap and yes I left a lot out but what I wrote about is where I felt inspired but I'll get to that later.

Waking up was hard to do and I honestly did not want to. I had to though as a day in the office was calling to me or rather the paycheck was calling to me. The temp here was going to be a lovely 80ish so I went on a search for capris to wear. That shouldn't have been hard I had bought a bunch of size 18's last year and some were still tight at the end of the season. I pulled them out put them on and couldn't figure out if I should scream with joy or aggravation. They seriously fell off as in they did not fit at all. They were huge on me. WAHOOOOO I decided to scream for joy but I had to go back to the closet on a hunt to see if I could find any from pre Roo days and I did. Size 14's that I had not worn in 3 years fit and they looked AWESOME! OMG I did it!! I am FINALLY back in pre pregnancy clothes. WAHOOOOOOOOO!!! So the day got instantly better and I skipped to the kitchen to make snacks and lunches and then I skipped out the door. I was wearing pre pregnancy clothes today WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I made it to work and enjoyed my serving of apple cinnamon cheerios eating them dry because milk doesn't really travel and dry is fine with me. I got to work and had my apple and 2 laughing cows around 10. At 11:30 I had my roast beef sandwich which was delicious.

Then the day went wonky. I needed to run to Michael's to get stuff to make a floral head wreath for Roo for some pictures so I knew I would be leaving later than I normally do since I took lunch. At 2:30 D sent me an IM that the daycare had just called him and Roo was sick and needed to be picked up. They said she had pink eye and was fussy. She had been totally perfect this morning so I ran out the door and made it to her daycare in record time. When I got there her eye was nearly swollen shut and she was in tears and hysterics. It is so hard to see your baby girl like that. :(... We headed home, called the doc, got drops called in, made it home, cuddled, bounced, cuddled, walked the floor, played up, down, up, down, watched her cry, wanted to cry myself, cuddled some more, watched her stumble around the room because her vision was off, held her, sang songs, talked, tried to comfort, wanted to cry because she was clearly miserable.

D made it home with dinner which was brisket, potato salad, and beans. I had a lot of beans not so much of the other. Dinner was tough because Roo was playing her up down back and forth hysterical crying, eating off each of our plates, cuddled, held cuddled and just tried to comfort.

When we decided that we'd had enough of that torture Roo told us she wanted to go on a walk and tried to climb in her stroller. I was all for it because today was my running day so we turned on the garmin and headed out for Week 2 of C25K. Roo lasted to the end of our block and it was over for her. D took her back home and I grabbed the garmin and hit the road. I am proud to say that I did it! I actually did it wrong and ran more than I was scheduled to and I won't be doing it wrong again but I did it!! I DID IT!!!!!! When I finished and hit my cool down walk I was trying to figure out if I was going to make it home because my legs were killing, each step hurt, and I questioned whether or not my knees were going to hold me up. I am going to keep doing this I am not going to give up!

I got home and D had already gotten R to sleep for stage 1 of the night we anticipate a lot more wake ups because she's already been up once as I am writing this. Poor girl. Anway after she was in bed I got on the elliptical and I did a 20 minute program again. It was the same one I did last night and I am so proud to say that I improved my calorie count from last night. I worked it hard! So today I worked out for 50 minutes of cardio. I did it!! I am going to lose this weight once and for all!!

It was then time for my evening snack and I had 2 waffles w/ 1 tbs of pb. :)

Till tomorrow yall fingers crossed we get sleep tonight and Roo is doing good tomorrow.

3/9/09 All Day

Well the day started off in a bad way. My weight was up .2 the reason it was up is out of my control but it was up and I am not happy about it. I know that I have the power to lose weight and the past two weeks I have not been 100% focused on workouts which is what I have to do in order to lose. I have been working out don't get me wrong but I know I have to ramp it up and do it 7 days a week in order to see any results or at least 6 days a week. I added in running (or at least starting to because I am only on day 4 of c25k and I'm having to do week 1 again) and I thought hey I won't do anything else on the days I do this well that is the wrong answer for me and I know it and I have known it but I was hoping that my knowledge base was wrong. Well it wasn't and I saw it on the scale so first thing this morning (as in 6:50 in the morning) I decided that I have to refocus and ramp it up period the end no joking.

Mondays-work from home so I checked my e-mail and other site for any problems responded to those and I tossed in the 2 mile WATP and got that done before 7:45 WAHOOOOOOO!! Roo woke up and we shared a serving of apple cinnamon cheerios and skim milk. It was good but it was so much fun watching a little girl enjoy every bite going mmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmmm! I love her so much!

She went to play and I got to work answering questions and responding to e-mails that I had not answered this weekend. What can I say sometimes I hold off my replies until working hours LOL!

A certain little girl came up to me about 10 and said apple cheese eat and I was like ok snack time so I cut us each an apple got some cheese cut and we went to the front porch for a 10 minute snack break to enjoy the weather and the breeze. It was nice to sit on the porch for a few minutes and just enjoy the relaxation. I really think my office needs to be moved OUTDOORS tomorrow so that I can enjoy the weather all day. Seriously I would get a ton more done LOL!

All to soon it was time for lunch and I had 3 oz of steak and 1/2 of a potato. Roo had chicken sausage, corn, and cheese. She then went down for a nap and I popped in the shred and did level 1. It was fast, intense, and I got it done! I did all the jump ropes, and all the jumping jacks, and all the bicycles. It hurt but I did it!

When a little girl woke up from her nap we made a cracker w/ light cream cheese, and an 8 oz glass of V8 Fruit Splash. Seriously I am in love with this stuff 10 calories and you get veggies and vitamins. Love love love this! Roo dranks 2 glasses and my kid does no like juice at ALL! I was so excited when she came up to me and asked for more. Her little smile was so sweet.

Dinner was a baked roast beef sandwich on the sandwich rolls. It had one of the dips we had bought spread on it, with mozzarella cheese, roast beef, and peppers. I baked it for 15 minutes until the cheese was melted and the bread was slightly crunchy. It was DELISH!! It got two thumbs up from everyone in the family. Roo helped fix it which was adorable. She stood up on a step stool and helped with the spread, she helped eat the roast beef as I was shredding it on the sandwiches and she ate an entire pepper before it made it to the sandwich. When it was on her plate she ate 1/2 of her bread, all of her meat, lots of cheese, and we did have some baked chips which she ate as well. I call it a successful meal!

We then went on a 2 mile family walk which was about 25 minutes in length. It was so nice to be together as we walked around the neighborhood up and down the streets and our eyes always looking around for the bunnies that call this area home. We had a great time as family. It really is nice to have this time to be together and to talk and reconnect after a day apart. Roo loves this time as well and we're lucky that she let us put her in the stroller again. She read us stories that she had with her in the stroller and told us all about how she had played with blocks and little people today.

We got home and it was time to get a girl down for bed through her routine of bath, milk, water, diaper change, fuss, rocking, then sleeping. During the fuss stage we had snack and I had 1 serving of Andes mints. They've been in my pantry for three months unopened which is 3 months longer than they ever have before so I finally caved and went for 1 serving. Once she was down I went up and did a 20 minute program on the elliptical. I did it and made it through stretched out and came down to blog it.

So I ramped up the exercise. Tomorrow is my first day getting up and getting ready for work on this new schedule so I am going to see how it goes because what I want to do is get up 1/2 hour earlier and do a video before work and then workout again at night. I am trying to get myself in good enough shape that I can look at one of the local boot camps that meet at an obnoxious time of morning LOL! So that's it I'm going to bed and hoping I can sleep tonight.

I made it and next week I WILL see a loss! I am ready for the 170's to be GONE!

3/8/09 All Day

I hate time changes. I'll just start off with that. I hate them and despise them and would be more than happy if they did not exist. Did I mention I HATE TIME CHANGES?? Ok I feel better.

I woke up early or late or who knows exactly when it was but I wasn't loving it. Oh well I had 1 serving of apple cinnamon cheerios. They were good LOL!

We then popped Roo in her stroller with books and went for a run. I have to do week 1 again with c25k I am just not ready to move up yet. This week I have set days for running and there are NO excuses. I must do it and that is all. I survived the run I don't know how but I did. It hurt, I cried, I pushed through, I made it, I will do this!

We got home after trying to play in the park but Roo did not want to put her book and water cup down which means that sliding was super difficult so we just headed home. I did use that time of watching her try to slide stretching or rather trying to stretch. I hurt at the moment and walking was OUCH! I mean seriously OUCHHHHHHHHHHHH! I hurt, hurt, hurt but I know that this is going to get better. I at least do not have to run tomorrow LOL!

When we did finally get home I cut up the watermelon we got yesterday and took pieces outside for everyone. Watermelon is much safer outside with a little Roo LOL! She loves the stuff but she makes a MESS. We enjoyed it too. It wasn't that sweet but the flavor was excellent.

Lunch was a repeat of yesterday w/ 1/2 tbs of 3 dips (less than 120 calories total) w/ a sesame cracker and 1 slice of pizza. It was just as good as it was yesterday LOL!

After we finally got a little girl down for a nap and finally there is the operative word and I laid down to read for awhile the little girl got up all to soon and it was time for afternoon snack. I had a light container of yogurt in banana cream pie flavor YUM!

We went back outside and played more and went to the store for some essentials that we had forgotten like sandwich meat and bread you know the essentials for work lunches LOL!

Dinner was 1.5 chicken mushroom sausages w/ broccoli slaw and less than 1 serving of pan cooked potatos. It was really good stuff. The sausage was expensive and not something we will do often but it was a nice treat.

We then went back outside (can you tell the weather was gorgeous today LOL) and went on a family walk where we did end up back at the playground and we played for half an hour up and down the equipment and we had so much fun!! We made it home and it was soon bathtime for a little girl and bedtime right after that. It took us 2.5 hours to get her to bed tonight AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!! I HATE TIME CHANGES!!!!!!! We actually didn't start trying until when our old time to start was but she was wound up and not interested in the idea of sleep. GRRRR! So I did not get the workout video accomplished that I wanted to tonight. Dennis and I are going to figure out how to get our workouts in with the time change because we're sure her bedtime will be changing to a later hour which is when we normally did our workouts. I can't workout past 9 or else I am up all night which is not what I am really looking for with this healthy lifestyle journey LOL!

We let her cry for a little bit and grabbed an evening snack. I had an eggo w/ banana 1 tbs of lite coolwhip and 1 tbs of caramel. It was super good!

But then it was time to go back upstairs for attempt number 1 million to get a Roo to sleep and this time it took. I got to cuddle with my princess as she snuggled in and slept. Sleep is a wonderful thing!

May everyone else not be going through what we are with this change in schedule.........

3/7/09 All Day

Well it was Saturday which usually translates to our free day of the week. Was it or was it not hmmmm well in some ways it was in that we didn't have 6 small set meals. I woke up in just enough time to get a bath and get dressed to head out the door to little gym where we played and played and played for 45 minutes. 45 minutes of chasing a little girl around and demonstrating to her how to do things. Roo rocked today! She played parachute and she did the balance beam and she ran and ran and popped bubbles, picked up balls, ran ran ran, climbed up mats and down mats and ran and did tumbles and ran and sqealed and shrieked and giggled and laughed and had FUN! It was sooooooooo much fun for us all!! Everyone had an absolute blast. In the car I had 5 mini rice cakes because well they were there and Roo ate the rest LOL! We stopped at Market Street on the way home and did some grocery shopping. We got home and had a sample of the cheese we got and 1 tbs of 3 dips w/ a sesame cracker and some baked chips. Then for lunch we had picked up a bake at home pizza that they made and I ate 1 slice and then watched Roo eat. We did something different for lunch today in that we sat down at her table and we all ate almost on our knees. Roo thought that was the absolute best thing in the world. LOL! I had 6 animal crackers for afternoon snack. Then for dinner I had 1/2 of a filet, and 1/2 of a baked potato w/ light cheese, light sour cream, i can't believe it's not butter, chives, and some bacon pieces as well as some salad. It was a delicious dinner and in the end I didn't eat all that I had fixed for me which was just fine I was content and not stuffed. We got out for a 35 minute walk/run it was great!! I am so proud of what I accomplished with that in that I didn't want to do it and man it hurt when I did but I powered through and I made it! I am really excited that I am still working towards my goal. I am going to get there and I am THRILLED about it!! Evening snack was 1/8 of a slice of peach and blueberry pie. It was soooooooo good.

So I am going to declare this a free day because we didn't do 6 meals but calorie wise we were under where we normally would have been. It was a great day and I am so happy with what we have accomplished.

This is my year!

3/6/09 All Day

TGIF!

I'm exhausted after a huge cleaning spree this evening.

Roo and I got to have a bowl of rice krispies this morning. We each had an orange for snack. Lunch was a crabcake w/ corn and peas. This was DEVOURED by a little girl who was quickly asking for more. She takes after her Mommy :D Afternoon snack was caramel flavored rice cakes shared while taking a work break to play barn. It was a lot of fun to share the rice cakes and to play with a new to Roo toy. We had a BLAST!! She giggled so many times that it made my day and made working a half hour later tonight so worth it. Dinner was a chicken cordon bleu and I only ate half WAHOOOOOO and some high fiber pasta w/ a touch of parmesan cheese. Evening snack will be something with a chocolate flavor. LOL!

Workout: 30 minute WATP 2 mile.

3/5/09 All Day

Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another.Walter Elliott
Today has been a race. My exhaustion level is high and I don't know why. Actually I do have an idea and involves a dvr making noise in the middle of the night and in the next few minutes of trying to turn it off I ended up turning on the tv before I realized something was recording which meant my efforts were all for naught and the cats woke up at that point and got in a fight on top of me which had me sitting straight up trying to figure out what was going on before an eviction occurred. I think the bedroom will be a cat free zone tonight although that doesn't work because then I have Simba who is sticking his paw under the door rattling it trying to get the door to unlock which does not work but it did in the rental house three years ago so it has to work here in his little mind.........Oh well.

I had a serving of cinnamon cheerios for breakfast, snack was an orange, lunch was the most of delicious shredded chicken sandwich. YUMMMMMM! The afternoon snack was a serving of baked chips and some pesto dip. It was really good! Dinner was chicken, green beans, a small salad, and a roll. It was super delicious! I am not hungry right now so I don't think I will be eating an evening snack.

Workouts I walked around the building three times today at work but when I got home I just kind of fell over and haven't had the energry to get back up again. I have to make up for it tomorrow.

3/4/09 All Day

Wow on the number of hits I have had here today. I wish that I had an answer for what most were looking for but alas NBC has to drag this weeks episode into another week. BOOOOO HISSSSSSS!! I am really hoping that they are just increasing the drama and that Mike was able to pull everyone through.

On to the events of the day. It was a seriously long day today. It was hard to get up and get moving. Ok it wasn't that hard to actually get up but once standing I was done and the temptation of just falling backward into the lovely, warm, inviting covers that I had just left was almost to much. I mean it was really almost to much I finally got my legs working (they were feeling the elliptical machine work from last night) and made it to the kitchen (after a few other key stops but yeah not talking about those LOL) and popped a nutrigrain strawberry filled waffle in the toaster and then put a plain one in the other side since a little girl was pointing at the freezer going EAT EAT EAT. The craisins and, apple chips she was eating were clearly not enough. The strawberry filled waffle was ok it was not worth the 130 or so calories though because I can only have one. If I use the plain eggos I get two of them and some pb for just a few more calories but still come under 150. I guess what I am saying is that it didn't really fill me up or last overly long. By the time I made it to the office I was starving and had almost forgotten that I had eaten breakfast instead of just skipping it like I felt I had.

The day was long and pretty mundane and the snacks were the same as yesterday (apple and cheesesticks, and cottage cheese w/ raspberry yogurt) and lunch was a turkey sandwich on sourdough w/ mustard and banana pepper slices YUM!

4:00 finally rolled around and I was on my way home. I was supposed to run today but my shins were really hurting so I decided it would be best to work them out in a less intense way. The run is scheduled for tomorrow. Dinner was a chicken, pepper, and cheese quesadilla w/ 1/2 of a small avacado. 1 serving of baked chips and salsa. It was really good!

We went on a family walk around the neighborhood tonight and then after I had gotten a sweet little baby girl to bed it was time for me to do level 1 of the shred. It was really hard because my legs were really sore. I apparently didn't stretch out last night after the elliptical and I need to make sure I do not repeat that mistake because it hurts the next day LOL!

I haven't decided on an evening snack yet. I got selected to do a South Beach Diet house party so the party kit arrived today (www.houseparty.com) and I am so tempted to sample one of the bars but I have to wait until the party date. *sigh* so I am probably going to have an orange or a granola bar. Choices choices choices!

3/3/09 All Day

I woke up with a renewed heart and spirit for this journey today. Eleanor Roosevelt said at one point in time that you must do the thing you think you cannot do. Just maintaining on Monday was crushing and I felt like throwing in the towel. I know that my body loses slowly as long as I stay on the path and I must do what seems like an overwhelming task a lot of the time. I am on this journey for life it's not a do it and be done. Once the weight is actually gone I have to maintain and when the time comes that we can have numero dos come into our lives I will have the journey to repeat again. I cannot give up now or else I will not get to that point in my life. I am doing this so Roo will learn that a healthy lifestyle is a great thing to partake in.

Watching the biggest loser tonight (and no news on if anyone got voted off yet for those that are checking here for the answer they are making us wait till next week BOOOOOOOO) it was so motivating to me as a parent watching what Mike did. I am not going to spoil what he did but I can say that he is a genuinely awesome person.

Ok so I had the renewed spirit this morning and I got up easily out of bed and I came out to get lunches and snacks ready WAHOOOOOOOOO!!!! Breakfast was a serving of banana nut cheerios. Morning snack was an apple and two string cheeses. Lunch was the baked ziti leftovers. Then afternoon snack was a serving of cottage cheese and raspberry yogurt mixed in. It was out of this world good DELICIOUS!!! It was even better than the blueberry yogurt which is and always has been a huge favorite of mine. Dinner was a piece of salmon, a serving of peaches, and a serving of Knorr Rice. It was sooooooooooooooooooo good!! I am still craving fish though so I need to figure out how to hit that craving so that it stops being a craving. Roo was so excited about the rice and fish although she was a baby bear tonight and really didn't want to eat once she got a taste it was over. She was so cute!!

I did a workout tonight! D was exhausted today he didn't get more than 3 hours of sleep last night so he wasn't into a workout so I did a program for the first time in two years on the elliptical. It was sooooooooo intense but I am happy to say I powered through it! I DID IT!!!!!!!!! 30 intense minutes with a warm up and cool down. I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow I plan to run.

Evening snack was a cappucino shake YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!!

You must do the thing that you think you cannot do. I can lose this weight once and for all because for so long it has seemed like the impossible task. I can do this and I must do this.

3/2/09 All Day

I'll start off the post with the fact that I maintained this week. I expected this in a lot of ways because my workouts although I have been working out I switched to a different type of workout routine and I realize this week that I have to focus on just adding the other workout routine into it and not totally switching. I am going to switch back and add the runs in and focus on making sure that I am working out daily.

Breakfast was a wonderful treat because I got to share it with my daughter. We enjoyed an eggo w/ some homemade peach preserves. It was a sweet and delicious treat! I forgot snack because we had to run to the store for more milk (one cannot run out of milk in this house) and when we got back it was to close to lunch for a fusseroo. Lunch was a small bowl of toscana with a slice of sourdough bread YUM! Afternoon snack was 2 servings of mini ricecakes. 1 serving was only 60 calories which isn't enough. Then dinner was a chicken breast stuffed w/ spinach and feta cheese, 1/2 serving of high fiber rotini, and asparagus. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMM!! Evening snack was raspberry delight. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!

I did get a WATP in today but I forgot the bachelor was on when I had my goals set for today and I have been walking in front of the tv but it has not been intense or hard core.

My goal for March is 1000 minutes. I have 40 done so far.

3/1/09 All Day

So today was a great day! It got off to a great start and stayed there.

For breakfast I shared a bowl of banana nut cheerios with a little girl who was not amused when we got to the bottom of the bowl. She wanted more! LOL!!!

Snack I ended up skipping because I ate a late breakfast. Lunch was a baked ziti style dish. It was a Dennis original and I'm not sure what all got added into it but I know him and it was all super light and super high fiber. We also had some steamed broccoli with this.

Then it was naptime which I took full advantage of. LOL!!!

Dinner was homemade Toscana soup. For those that know me well you know Olive Garden for their soup, salad, and breadsticks is one of my all time favorite meals and favorite choices. So we make it at home in a much lighter way using turkey or chicken italian sausage, turkey bacon, no cream but reduced fat milk, and potatos with a TON of kale. It is super delicious!!

Snack was a half of a slice of cake. It was sooooooooooooooo good and was soooooooo good and did I mention good? We only bought a slice at the store because I was craving it but by only having a slice in the house it meant that I would not overindulge. I hit the craving and moved on. WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

And then I worked out I got my day 2 of c25k done. Now be impressed for those that know me it was FREEZING outside and I got it done. My recovery was so much better than it was on Thursday. Tomorrow my goal is to do a WATP when I wake up, take lunch to do the shred, and then do something like elliptical and weights when Dennis and I get to workout.

2/28/09 All Day

Ok weird my post last night didn't post and the draft doesn't open so let's try to remember.

I got up and got really sick first thing the salad the night before didn't work apparently but it's all good and I was still able to make it to little gym for Roo's first class. OMG it was soooooooo much fun! She was really shy at first but as soon as it was time to put a beanbag on her toes she was thrilled and happy and excited. Then when it had to go on her head and the teacher said she was doing the best job keeping it there her face lit up and she got her shifty eyes looking around and just smiling. When it was time for free explore she was everywhere doing everything. She climbed on teh balance beam, she climbed through a tunnel, we ran all over catching her, she had so much fun! We can't wait until next week when we go back. She was in her element and we all got to move around and workout and life was good. I am so happy we are teaching our daughter how important health and movement is from this young of an age. They are doing sign ups for summer but I think summer is going to be swimming lessons we can only fit one thing in a week so I have to take the important things first and learning to swim is right there at the top. Last year we couldn't because tubes were to new but I think this year we will be able to. I do need to double check with her pediatrician.

So breakfast and morning snack were a no go. Lunch was a turkey burger patty w/ avacado and garlic baked fries. YUM! Afternoon snack was a serving of banana nut cheerios. Dinner I went out with a friend and we went to Mimi's Cafe. I was really worried especially with the trouble I had from dinner the night before (fajita steak salad w/ dressing on the side from a restaurant) I did not want to get sick before shopping at the consignment sale. I got a side salad w/ ranch on the side, and a cup of french onion soup which was DELICIOUS!! OMG sooooooooooooo good!!!! And I didn't get sick!! I did not get sick WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Ok little things make me happy and I think that this is going to be a real learning experience when we eat out is finding the low grease, low fat stuff and sticking with it. I thought the salad the night before was low fat and low grease but something set me off.

Then I went to the consignment sale and got a huge thing of Legos and clothes. I was so excited and so happy because I knew that Roo would be really happy and sure enough she was!
