Ok well I already posted my big news about a big loss! I am determined to say the same thing next week even though I totally was not expecting a loss this week at all! It really makes me happy to see one and know that the work I am putting out is working.
Today was a work at home day and Roo was so cute as soon as we waved bye bye to Daddy she looked at me and said Mommy March March and ran to the tv and started beating on it. I was like ok gotcha let's march march so I put WATP power mile on and she held my hand and we got to marching and stepping and everything else they make us do. Part of it was with a 27+lb weight in my arms but it was fun and worth it. Then she wanted a bar for breakfast so she got an apple nutrigrain bar and I had a banana and half a serving of frosted mini wheats. It did the job. Snack was crackers w/ pimento cheese. I found some smoked gouda pimento cheese at Market Street on Saturday and seriously it is beyond good that I have to limit how much I can have. I shouldn't say that because yeah I have to limit it but I mean I really have to watch this one so having it spread thin on a cracker is a great treat.
Lunch was a turkey sandwich w/ laughing cow, whole wheat bread, spinach, and 1 serving of chips. After Roo went down for a nap I did Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1. OUCH! It's been awhile and I really can tell that I am in a lot better shape than I was when I started doing it in January but she does make a person work. Afternoon snack was a bite and I do mean a bite of chocolate mint cake. It had gone bad so after that one bite I didn't want to try anything else. Dinner was a beef fajita salad and it was DELISH! Before dinner I did the walk away pounds walk and jog video. After dinner I did the walk away the pounds power mile again (can you tell I was trying to get my calorie cound and moderate workout count up?) Then D and I both did the Power 90 cardio phase 1-2 and ab ripper. OUCH!
My body is tired very tired but this is what it has to go through to lose the pounds and the inches. I love feeling this way is that sick? I don't know it's the good physical you worked hard and you accomplished this much stuff feeling.
I am proud to say I made all my goals today. My hardest was actually the moderate exercise because the shred and the walk and jog kicked me up to vigorous levels so I really had to push it to get the 1.5 hour of moderate. I did it and I am thrilled! Calories burned are over 2500 and intake was like 1504.
I still love the go wear fit it is making me push harder and it is giving me the kick I needed.
Oh yeah I guess this is big news too but one pair of jeans I bought 4 days or so before I found out I was pregnant (which was why my old jeans didn't fit and I had to buy a bigger size LOL) fit now and are fairly comfortable. I am not sure I would trust wearing them in public yet but I am on the way there.
Power 90 review I am on day 4 and it is still making me work which I like.

4/5/09 All Day
I slept in a little bit today which was really nice because I had worn myself out yesterday with workouts soooooooo worth it though ya know!
I skipped breakfast and morning snack because I knew we were going out to eat with my parents after we attempted bluebonnet pictures. Blasted front moved in so it was overly windy and cool none of which work well with a little girl who does not like the wind in her face so we will have to try again next week. I WILL get good pictures this year LOL!!!
We went to my parents house and chilled out for awhile before we headed to McCallisters. I had the light turkey w/ cranberry orange sandwich I ate all the turkey and cheese 1/2 the bread, my fruit cup and a glass of sweet tea. That was all I could handle.
Snack was 1 serving of chips w/ pimento cheese dip.
Then instead of working out I waited on an appointment that never showed up. That opportunity to burn calories gone BOOO!
Dinner was 1/2 an artichoke w/ .75 tbs of butter dip and 1 slice of sourdough bread w/ 3 oz of turkey and 1 slice of provolone that was toasted. This was REALLY good! It had been years since I had an artichoke and now I am trying to remember why it was so long. It was so low calorie and soooooooooooo filling I need to have them more frequently for sure!
Then we spent 2.5 hours trying to put a little girl to bed which was TOUGH we let her cry cry cry but there comes a point that crying isn't going to cut it so D and I took turns with her before she finally crashed for good. We then ran downstairs to do the Power 90 Sculpt Phase 1-2. It was excellent! Really beyond excellent my body is tired and my muscles are tired so life is good.
I didn't make my goals today I didn't make 1/2 way on them for that matter but with as much as we had packed in today I couldn't have done anymore in all honesty. It's hard for me to realize that I couldn't have done anymore and I need to let that go even though I wish I could have done more today but I am so much further now than I was at this time last week.
I had a banana for evening snack.
My review of go wear fit for the day I didn't get my goals but it was great to try for as much as I was able to. Tomorrow will be the end of my first week for it. Tomorrow is the first real weigh in day and I know my body is adjusting so I promise now not to get upset but I really feel this is what I needed to get me to push myself to the next level.
Ohhhhhhhh and how could I have forgotten the biggest thing of the day!! I got on the scale this morning no comment on the number because I know that my body is adjusting to the changes I have made to it this week but the BMI I will comment on. It was below 40 for the first time in who knows how long. I am soooooooooooo excited sooooooooo soooooooooooo soooooooo excited!

4/4/09 All Day
Today has been a very active and productive day!
We woke up at 7:15 and poor little Roo had a fever so no Little Gym for her. She crashed out in front of the tv to watch some new Disney show which is beyond strange for her so we just let her be and tried to entertain. She finally got around to moving around and I popped in the WATP power mile and jogged my way through that real fast. Roo wanted a nutri grain bar for breakfast so she had that and I had a south beach peanut butter bar. I then did the Power 90 Fat Burning Express video which was really fun to do and I am happy to say I was over 1000 calories by 9:30 LOL!
My phone rang and I found out that some pictures were ready so I hopped in the shower and after talking to D we decided it was best that he and Roo stay home so I took off. I got the pictures and stopped at Home Depot. There I picked up some pots, and potting soil so we could repot my indoor plants they were all looking really sad so it was time. Then I also got some more fertilizer and weed killer, fire ant killer, and mulch for around our trees. It was great to be outside in the garden area and lifting heavier bags around without getting out of breath. I then stopped at Market Street and picked up some groceries like salmon, tenderized chicken, meatloaf ready to cook, etc....I also got cauliflower, fruit, some spreads, and some artichokes.
I got home and D had made an open faced tuna melt which was DELISH! We also had a serving of chips and tried the new spreads that I had bought. There was one that was a smoked gouda pimento cheese OMG out of this world good and I don't know what the nutrition info is but I am guessing at it I did not have much though but it was hard not to sit down and just eat the whole container but I did stop with 1/2 tablespoon. YUMMERS!
We then went outside and repotted the plants and I came in to put Roo down for a nap. I then went to my room to catch up on the DVR but as I was watching a show my eyes were getting heavier so I turned the tv off and took a nice two hour nap. After waking up we went outside and chased a little girl around and came in for a yogurt snack.
All to soon it was time to start thinking about dinner and as D was cooking the salmon, red beans and rice, and broccoli and cauliflower mix w/ 1 piece of italian bread I put in the WATP power mile again and got through half of it before dinner was ready.
After dinner we took off for a family walk and we went about 3.5 miles. We walked the route twice and Roo was a princess in the stroller I was so proud of her she didn't ask to get up once! We got home and it was time for bed and once she was asleep I did the Power 90 Cardio and abs routine. My abs are aching right now but I guess that is the point of the whole thing.
Then I had a vanilla protein powder milk shake for my evening snack which is a great way to cool down.
Soooooooooo that was the day in a very long nutshell LOL!
Go Wear Fit Review: It kept me going today. I had to reach all my goals and I could not stop until I got there. D and I were talking that since I got this I know how hard to push myself. I had been working out and going Yay me that's all I have to do but seeing the numbers I realize that even though I was working out it wasn't doing that much. Yes I was burning some calories but I was not anywhere close to where I needed to be. Now I know my goals, I know where I am and I know how much farther I have to go to hear the beeps. It's harder than all get outs for me to hit the three daily goals but I am not going to let myself give up on this. It's all about the numbers! Eating wise I have been logging everything I put in my mouth on the sites food tracker and it is pretty consistent with what I am getting when I log it in FitDay and the such. I can't wait to see the scale next week. This week might not happen for various reasons but next week I know I am going to see a loss I have to!
Power 90 Review. Today was day 2 of total commitment LOL! It is a great workout and I can definitely feel the burn that it is giving me. I do really like this and although it is a little slow at times I like how I can kick it up or pace it down some. I am really excited to see what it will do when I am at 21 days.

4/3/09 All Day
It's been a long exhausting day. D woke up last night with a fever so needless to say it wasn't to restful of a sleep last night with his tossing and turning and shivering and cover shifting and pillow shifting etc.....Then Roo squeaked at 2:30 which had me sitting up. Then D got up for medicine and I thought it was wake up time. I've been struggling today seriously!
After Roo woke up this morning I made the mistake of asking her if she wanted cheerios or eggs for breakfast and after I poured some cheerios she looked at me and cried and said EGGS so I made up an egg scramble for us (peppers, egg beaters (1 serving each) and 2 slices of turkey bacon diced up and split among us all) Roo chowed down and I polished mine off as did D.
Before I got to work I did the walk away the pounds power mile. I then got to work and D kind of fell over in the living room and let Roo crawl over him as she watched Ocar and Elmomo. He took her upstairs for awhile to play and so that I could get some serious work done. When he brought her back down it was time for a banana and v8 juice snack. That was really good! I then watched Roo while D went upstairs to rest and we played peek a boo around the computer and coloring she loves to color!
Today is my nephews birthday and me being me had not been able to get to the PO in time to send his gift. I've only had it since January.....Oh well it got mailed today and he was on my mind all day so hopefully he will forgive me I'm sure his parents are rolling their eyes about my getting it there late. It's only stuff sent out there that is ever late but at least I do it consistently........
I got back and fixed Roo and I a wrap w/ tortilla, turkey, laughing cow wedge, some feta, and spinach. We also had 1 serving of corn chips. It was delicious!! D made a grilled sandwich so don't think I forgot about him he just wanted his own thing.
Roo went up for a nap and I tossed in Power 90 and did the strength workout. Holy cow that was tough! I used the resistance bands and man oh man I can't wait to see how much better I look and feel when i get through this thing! Today is my day 1 of being committed we did the cardio the other day but ER last night got in the way of staying committed to it at that point but I am now 100% committed to this for 90 days. I am to do one of the circuits 6 days a week but with the go fit wear I'm not sure I'm going to be able to slack off any at all but I'll get into that later.
It was time for back to work and when Roo woke up we had a yogurt and animal cracker snack. I really like this one it's simple and delish. She then went to take care of her bears until she went upstairs with D.
At 4:30 I was done for the day so I checked my display and YIKES I jumped up and popped in the walk away the pounds video again and I jogged my way through it and then I got Roo and put her shoes on and we took off for a 2 mile walk. My numbers were LOW and I mean LOW! I am shocked that I burn more calories at the office than I do at home YIKES!!!!!!!! Anyway we got home and D had made dinner which was chicken sausage, sauteed w/ peppers and spinach, and served over Ronzoni smart taste pasta. It was DELISH DELISH DELISH and something I would definitely make again.
We played and played and played as a family and I gave Roo her bath. Then was the discussion of who would get the last cuddles of the day and D said he would take round 1 and I would take round 2 so I said great and took off outside to mow the front yard. It is looking a little bit better now but I am still going to get Scott's this weekend and get that spread because these weeds are RIDIC! I came in and took my turn with a little girl and I cannot even put into words how much those last snuggles of the day are when she looks up at me with big eyes and says love. *sigh*
She still wasn't thrilled about being laid down for bed so D and I came downstairs for our evening snack to let her remember why she wanted sleep. We had a tiny piece of chocolate mint cake. No words can really describe this it is sooooooo good I had bought it at the store to take to work but I forgot it Thursday and remembered it today so we had to eat some I mean I hate to see all that money go to waste ya know LOL!
Now onto my go wear fit review. I still love it. It totally showed how rough last nights sleep was. I was shocked that I didn't move around as much today as I do at the office so I really had to kick myself up a whole lot to achieve all of my goals today which I am happy to say I did reach all of them at 8:38 tonight. I am about to fall over though I mean after 2 rounds of WATP power mile, 30 minutes of strength, fast paced walk, and then mowing the yard on top of being tired from last night and work and Roo girl time. I think tonight I will sleep beyond well.

4/1/09 All Day
Happy April Fool's Day everyone. I hope you were the joker and not the butt of any jokes today. I managed to make it through unscathed well except for some tickles from a little girl where you have to jump around and laugh hysterically because she is trying so hard to really tickle a person and you do it just to see her fall to the ground laughing. Yup it's worth it.
Well today was full day 2 of the go wear fit and I am happy and proud to say that I again reached all my goals and then some. I am a numbers person apparently when i saw my numbers were slacking I would stand up and stretch and walk in place, do some jumping jacks, and just move around. This thing is really keeping me from being to stagnant which is what I need. I need that kick in the tail on a daily basis. I am really loving it if you can't tell. Someone asked me today if I noticed a difference in how I was doing things and honestly yes I am. I am really focused on hearing the beeps as I reach my goals of steps, moderate exercise, and calories. My biggest struggle is hitting the 2500 calories burned but I am getting it done. I am also beyond focused on measuring food out, calorie intake, and making sure things don't get slipped in that shouldn't. I had been measuring food, monitoring it etc but putting it in the food log on the go wear fit activity manager is definitely keeping me that much more accountable. I do see the difference and I hope that I continue to do so.
Breakfast was 1 cup of honey nut cheerios. Snack was an apple D said his string cheese tasted funny so I was leery of it. Lunch was leftovers from last night (tortellini, sauce, w/ peppers and chicken) afternoon snack was a yogurt and animal crackers. Dinner was a hamburger patty and roasted potatos with broccoli and cheese sauce it was really good as is 110 calories per serving (Green Giant) Delish!! Evening snack was a waffle and peach preserves. Even more Delish!
Workouts let's see I got a 30 minute walk in, chased Roo around the park and yard, came home then after a little girl was in bed we popped in our new video of Power 90. So here goes the review on that one.
We did cardio today because I was in a cardio mood and I made it through. It was difficult but it was a great workout. I need to sit down and read the full program guide tonight to see exactly what we're supposed to do with it so further reviews will be coming. I am committed to this for 90 days (anyone can do anything for 90 days right I hope I am.......) I got 12K steps in and outputted 2600 calories or so. I am tired but I feel great!
